Spring Fever Regatta 2003
Location and Directions
Regatta and camp sites to be at Milltown Campground
Lake Hartwell, Georgia
From Interstate I-85:
- Take the Hartwell-Elberton Exit 177, the last exit in GA before
the SC State line.
- Go south on Hwy. 77 for 5.2 miles to Shell Station.
- Turn left onto Junction 77 Road. (Directly across from station.)
- Go 2.2 miles to stop sign.
- Turn left onto Mt. Olivet Road;
- Turn right onto Mt. Hebron Road; then an immediate left onto New
Hope Road.
- Go 1.7 miles to stop sign.
- Turn right onto Boleman Hill Road;
- Go .4 miles to stop sign. (BP Station on NE corner)
- Continue straight for 2.1 miles to another stop sign.
- Turn right onto Milltown Road and the campground will be 3.0 miles
at the end of Milltown Road.
From the City of Hartwell:
- Take Hwy. 51 North toward Reed Creek;
- Go 7.0 miles to 4-way stop sign. (BP Station on NE corner)
- Turn right and continue straight for 2.1 miles to stop sign.
- Turn right onto Milltown Road and the campground will be 3.0 miles
at the end of Milltown Road.
Accommodations
This year the entire Milltown Campground will be reserved exclusively
for Regatta attendees. Pick out a site and make yourself at home.
